As the least likely to be well endgangen, I was a few months, but actually the games and lifestyle magazine GEE present and was allowed to a large, one-sided picture and a small article about me representing German Transformers community.
A wonderful experience that I will remain always and forever in your memory. But despite all the friends: That was not all!

to be a rather uninteresting story, simply because the effort too great. On the other hand, the prize for first place was very appealing: two tickets to the Germany premiere of Transformers in Berlin in the presence of stars, including travel and Hotelaufendhalt!
This was a more than palatable reason why Phu and I have yet decided to smooth the contest to break the grand prize package, can!
But should start with this decision a long time of torment.
For two months we have sweated blood and sweat for this project to us from the given 3 minutes to extract the best way possible. We rewrote the script numerous times, 2-3 weeks needed for the shooting and works day and night sparkled in our project. Without even a minute of something else to think we spent all our precious time in this short film, driven by the hope go, bag and baggage to Berlin can be to enjoy Transformers in all its glory.
Two months of drama, despair and sheer stress tended slowly to an end and on 09 April 2007, our project is finally finished.

Now began the period of waiting.
One week, two weeks went by and not A single e-mail or call from the GEE. We were impatient and began to stare at the phone apathetic, hoping that it would ring the same. Three weeks, four weeks went by ... slowly uncertainty and madness was broadly in us. We started some gibberish hinzubrabbeln before us. Numerous questions plagued us: Did you like our short film? Who will sit on the jury? What will cut our film? But of course we got no answers.
The fifth week: On a point Monday, 12:57 clock, I made myself something to eat. Suddenly the phone began to ring loudly. Startled, I jerked
together, looking toward camera. After some hesitation, took I will use a young, male voice full of joy rang out from the handset.
"Yes, hello Mag! GEE-here!"
Finally! Finally got a reply from the GEE-man! But what would now come to me? My heart started beating like crazy. I could go on talking to the young man.
"I am pleased to tell you you to know ..."
A large grin adorned my face and I felt so incredibly close to the victory. I heard more tense.
"... you have demonstrated with her short film the FOURTH place!"
"Fourth place ....". The grin turned into a pure expression Disappointment. "Fourth place ...". The words pierced almost to my head. "Only the fourth place that is ..... what a joke."
left clean out of courtesy then a desolate "Yay my lips as I clenched my fist so tight until the blood flowed from my hand.
The young man had to say GEE-me much, but I could not listen to him further. I was too lost in thought. The only thing that had yet reached my head the words "invitation" and "E-mail".
More than disappointed, I put them on the phone and calling my film colleagues at once with another phone on to him the bad news.
Welch tragedy. Instead of the two premiere tickets we get now (mind you, only one) package and Transformers collectors, instead of a big victory celebration, then I babble on any people with such mundane words like "at least in the Top Five. When something like that would be able to give anyone comfort.
After I get into a little after a few minutes, I remembered the words "invitation" and "E-mail from a young man and finally went to the computer to go to get to the bottom. In fact, should be found in my inbox an e-mail and highlight how, we should be a last consolation prize get that was not so bad:
fact, we were invited to a big press event the next day (08:05:07) presented, on which the new Transformers figures and also the first scenes of the new Transformers movie will be presented.

But despite the beautiful invitation is sitting, still the disappointment and the sense of failure deep in our hearts. Because we could not achieve what we set out and ardently desired.
Nevertheless, even if we have lost ourselves, so I'll at least go with my head held high and my way Fist victoriously towards the sky! For I am still proud of our product and that is victory enough!
